The Orangevale Grange Garden Project is a commUNITY garden offered to Grange members and Non-Grange members in our community wanting to grow their own garden while meeting others and sharing each others expertise. We have 48 – 4 foot X 8 foot Redwood boxes. Each garden box has its own water source. Drip irrigation is required with digital timers and is supplied by the leasee.
Our gardens are on a quiet half acre in the back acreage of the Grange 5.8 acre piece of property. The Grange gardens is inspired by long standing Grange members wanting to bring the agriculture roots of the Granges original purpose back to the community we live in. The Grange gardens works closely with other farm and gardening initiatives in the Orangevale / Fair Oaks proper. Including The Orangevale Food Bank and Food Bank Farm, Summer Farmers Market, local church garden initiatives that feed local resident meals and Sacramento county representatives.
Lease a box(s) or participate in our “Pay It Forward” lease sponsorship by purchasing an annual lease and we will match your paid lease with a local family or entity to do the gardening. Click HERE to learn more about “Pay It Forward” lease sponsorships.
